VOID

VOID is constituted by two videos: the process of sunset which is lost focus, and the devitalization of animals. This work is mixed with my personal obsession of the sunset, the loss of life, the sea, etc. When I watch these moments happening, I have two opposite feelings.

 

It's true that the sun goes down, all lives end, everything is going towards nothingness, a void. I feel the cruelty and sadness of loss and the passing of time. But at the same time, the process can also convey an extreme feeling of beauty and sublimity.

 

In the end, maybe the only answer would be that smashed shadow of the moon in the waves.
