· Baby Tomato
2020.9
I found a baby tomato
under my bed
when I was doing yoga
on the mat
It was by my suitcase
huge and blue
it looked rather tiny beside
Though
the dirty baby tomato belongs to the bin
while the suitcase belongs
to where I belong to
but they met
under my bed
· Graveyard
墓地
2020.10
When I was on the train today
a graveyard passed by
flying over
through the gaps between trees
Among those short tombstones
some are new some are old
some are surrounded by flowers
some are standing alone
But soon my vision was blocked
by the wall of the station
the train continued to run
and I will never see them again

Grey sky outside the window. Clouds blocking the sun light. (suffocated)
There’s only a few people on the platform 8, waiting for the train. Everyone’s in a shell. Block.
I sit. Tree passing by. Can’t see houses.
The third stop. I get down, walked up the stairs, to the street.
Street. Cars. Yelling. (suffocated)
I walk on street, crossing.
Tranquil neighbourhood, white, blue, yellow, green, grey houses. (relaxed not really)
Entrance, fences, dark room.
White light, darkness, darkness, darkness, red light, white light, red light, white light…(tired and excited)
Darkness. (sad)
Fences, exit, street, platform, train.

“Feeling isolated?”
Trees passing by and grey sky.
“Hotline’s open from 7am till midnight.” (useless)
Platform, street, shop, home.
· Monument By the Sea
2021.12
There was a monument
Standing on the beach
Made from some kind of stone
That comes from an exotic country
On the surface of the monument
Carved with names
Names and years of people
Died in the village
One day
Someone was washed onto the beach
A dead man
With an exotic look
People struggled to decide
Whether to carve his name onto the monument
“He doesn’t belong here,
he’s an outsider.”
“He died here,
his existence should be remembered.”
They decided carve his name at last
They found he was called Olvido
On a ship ticket
In his pocket
But
When they tried to carve on the monument
With the sharpest blade they had ever used
It was impossible to do that anymore
They tried so hard
But the stone remained flat and smooth
They tried to carve someone else’s name
It was impossible neither
People panicked immediately
They began to use anything
That could cause a single glimpse to the monument
Hammers, saws, their own teeth, even diamond
The monument remained silent
and still
They didn’t give up
Endeavoured to leave a single mark
Until midnight
Gradually more and more people were tired
And fell asleep
Until the last one of them
When they woke up in the morning
They found the monument was cracked into pieces
Some pieces were so tiny
That they even shined under the sun
When the tide was in
Those pieces were washed away
Piece by piece
Just like how
The Olvido man was washed up
People gathered on the beach
Watching silently
Until sunset
When the last piece of the monument
Was washed away
