《第七项》显示了分解第七阶段中夏洛特·科曼的自画像。 部分受到小林永濯（Kobayashi Eitaku）的《九项图》的启发，试图通过死亡后的身体变化思考唤起观众对于生命和物质世界的短暂。

 

7th Stage shows Charlotte Coleman’s self portrait during the 7th stage of decomposition. Partly inspired by Kobayashi Eitaku’s “Body of a Courtesan in Nine Stages” in an attempt to evoke the viewer to think of the temporary nature of life and the physical world by  contemplating postmortem changes.
